JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

As an EHS Intern for Arconic in Cranberry you will be a part of an EHS Team helping support one of Arconic’s largest aluminum extrusion facilities. Working closely with the EHS Manager and EHS Engineer, the EHS Intern will help support the location’s safety programs and employee training with emphasis on Lockout Tagout control of hazardous energy.

• Assist member of the Cranberry EHS Staff with the routine EHS Management functions
• Conduct a variety of assessments and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with monthly employee safety training and new hire orientation
• Participate in weekly safety walks in various departments as part of a team
• Use software to create safety procedures

Cranberry Township is located just 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh. Cranberry Township offers a wide variety of food, shopping, and activities as well as being 30 minutes drive to McConnell's Mill State Park, a popular hiking destination.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited institution and working toward your bachelor's degree in an EHS-related program.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
