As an Environment Advisor, you will support the company’s efforts in coordinating environmental compliance and sustainability metrics for assets in Pennsylvania and potentially nearby states.

What You Will Do
  • Provide environmental compliance advice, assistance and support to Operations and others regarding system operations, maintenance, projects, and emergency response.
  • Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance, develop, or recommend procedures, provide guidance and relevant written resources or support materials for air, water and waste.
  • Coordinate all regulatory environmental inspections, audits and visits.
  • Support and assist Company emergency response efforts through IC, advise on and direct remedial actions, technologies, and regulations. Obtain necessary training and/or certifications.
  • Support and coordinate Company environmental awareness initiatives, training programs, and ongoing outreach efforts, materials, and resources.
  • Coordinate all required emissions testing and fugitive monitoring including the development and management of post‑leak monitoring and remediation approaches. This may include coordinating remedial efforts, developing appropriate monitoring procedures, preparing necessary regulatory reports, and closure documentation, coordinating agency.
  • Actively seek out and assist in executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Responsible for achievement of Environment Objectives and Goals.
Who You Are
  • A post‑secondary degree or higher in an environmental, engineering or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related environmental experience, preferably in pipeline, industry, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Ability to comprehend diverse regulatory, scientific and technical issues.
  • Familiarity with management best practices for environmental protection.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • A self‑starter with strong written and oral communication skills, focused internally and externally at all levels.
  • The ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills focused internally and externally to a wide variety of people including employees, management, regulatory agencies, and the public.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to implement new ideas within acceptable boundaries.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and commitment to Enbridge’s values.
  • Experience with Enbridge business units, familiarity with Enbridge’s business and cultures considered an asset.
  • You will be required to undergo various background screenings that include but are not limited to 5‑year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored drug testing.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment (~60%) vs travel throughout the North Central United States to various field locations (~40%).
Physical Requirements

Grasping, kneeling, light–moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
