Intern - Position and Responsibilities
As an Intern with Middough, you will become an integral part of a project team(s) assisting with a variety of engineering processes and responsibilities based on the Internship engineering discipline assignment.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• May learn, participate in, or assist with project tasks and technical execution of projects with focus on quality, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Interact with other departments, Interns, and project teams to obtain and assist with pertinent project information and tasks.
• May participate in 3D model design reviews, revision and maintenance of piping line lists & piping arrangement drawings.
• May establish designs consistent with piping good practices, client requirements / specification and conformance to codes and standards.
• May learn AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, Navisworks and Blue Beam.

Education, Experience and Skills
The successful Intern candidate will possess the following:

• Currently enrolled and working towards an associate degree or bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to learn new technology efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to multi-task and be highly organized.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge or ability to learn one or several of the following based on the Internship discipline:
  • AutoCAD
  • Blue Beam
  • CADWorx
  • Plant 3D
  • Navisworks

Noise levels may be moderate to high at various client sites, hearing protection may be required and/or provided. Safety protections provided by the client and/or company are required to be used and followed.
• May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites.
• This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence and auto insurance coverage.
