PURPOSEThis Sr. External Supply Management - Medical Device (EM MD) position is responsible for operational and project work assigned by senior-level staff. The standard BAYER Core Competencies and Role Competencies apply in the evaluation of the incumbent’s suitability for placement into this role classification.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities- EM Labeling Life Cycle Management and sustaining activities: DMRI updates, ECR, ECO, Feature Specs, Manufacturing Drawings;
- Ensure design outputs are properly implemented into manufacturing through design transfer activities;
- Implement process and product changes including: creation of material masters, manufacturing technologies, process changes, etc.;
- Responsible for small‑scale project management and technical support activities for ESM MD in the interest of supply assurance including:
- Supply chain management: SCR’s and BCR’s;
- Capacity expansion initiatives (e.g., tooling, equipment);
- Continuous improvement projects (e.g., larger box label);
- CAPA activities;
- Centargo SUDS Hypercare:
Centargo launch wave coordination including labeling and global management; - ESM MD lead – Project Mural.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications- In-depth knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts in selected technical discipline;
- Applies technical disciplines including reading, understanding, and creating engineering drawings and specifications including CTQs; skills & qualifications: technical problem-solving, statistics;
- Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience including ISO
13485 requirements, process and product validation, change management, QA/RA; - Manufacturing experience including component molding, assembly, packaging, labeling, lean manufacturing, value‑stream mapping, Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies;
- Knowledge and application of engineering tools and technologies;
- Proven computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral;
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $74,191.00 and $. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
