Oversees planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule.

The project engineer will be responsible for some design activities. They will define the necessary resources necessary to complete the project within the required time and financial constraints. They will be responsible for monitoring the project throughout the lifecycle of the project (project definition, quoting, production delivery and installation). Their duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.

• Define project objectives (with sales team)
• Gather / assess site conditions
• Develop rack design
• Interact with lift / crane OEM's to ensure system compatibility
• Work with Purchasing to source custom materials
• Generate proposals (responsible for accurate cost workup)
• Create detailed proposal drawings
• Work with engineering consultants for stamped drawings, concrete analysis, anchor bolt design
• Present design / cost work-up to exec team for approval ($1M+)
• Present design / fab requirements to production team
• Conduct pre-install Teams meetings with customers and crews
• Travel to the job site to provide technical support during installation.
• Work with customer and quality team to address and rectify any warranty issues that may arise.
