We are currently seeking an adaptable and efficient individual to join our EHS and Maintenance teams. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing safety and maintaining sustainability programs, policies, trainings and procedures regulatory compliance, building and employees security, health and safety, and environmental management, maintain OSHA VPP star compliance, manage ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliances, manage health and safety compliance for services dept in a manufacturing facility.
This role collaborates with executive leadership teams and provides support to operational teams in leading and supporting EHS activities, programs, and incident prevention.
An EHS and Maintenance Manager works with a team to ensure a positive, engaging, and inclusive safety culture while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, logical, problem solver and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Responsibilities- Lead facility operations, infrastructure maintenance, and daily building performance optimization
- Ensure full EHS and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, state/local requirements)
- Drive a zero-incident culture through hazard identification, risk management, and safety leadership
- Oversee maintenance programs, contractor coordination, and emergency response readiness
- Manage facility projects including new construction, equipment installation, and relocations
- Track, analyze, and report safety, maintenance, environmental, and downtime metrics
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Service, R&D, and Warehouse teams to support operations
- Promote continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, quality standards, and 5S practices
- Oversee all activities of the safety committee and other Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) functions
- Lead, support, and develop a team of 5-7 EH&S and Maintenance employees in a collaborative, multiproduct manufacturing environment
- Bachelor s in Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Occupational Safety, Life Safety, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent, required
- 10+ years of experience with an emphasis in safety as well as environmental & health and sustainability management in a manufacturing, industrial environment, and experience as an effective leader, motivator, and coach

- One or more safety and/or environmental-related or environmental professional certifications desired (ASP or CSP)
- Knowledgeable of mechanical systems including HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, city water, natural gas, propane, and refrigerant. Many of these systems include distribution piping, pumps, valves, tanks and controls.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical equipment, systems and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
- Must be a team player with ability to effectively build relationships with employees at all levels
- Proficient computer knowledge (SSO, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
