We are seeking proactive, highly intelligent, passionate, and personable Sales Engineer to join our McMurray, PA office who is excited to consult, solve complex challenges, and make a meaningful impact on current and future generations.

This position requires direct employment. We do not consider C2C (Corp-to-Corp) or 1099 contract arrangements.

As a Sales Engineer with DSA, you will become a trusted automation consultant for your clients. You will experience project diversity and help customers design effective solutions through integrated systems:

  • IIOT and data acquisition
  • Instrumentation and automated test equipment
  • Process controls, quality inspection, and motion control
  • Vision systems and robotics
  • Machine design and build
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Real‑time visualization and advanced analytics
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously and collaborate closely with our engineering team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive new business development and expand existing accounts through professional consultative selling
  • Accurately price projects while identifying technical and financial risks
  • Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date records of prospects and project leads
  • Deliver compelling presentations and guide clients through complex technical decisions
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering or Science preferred
  • 0–5 years’ experience, preferably in technical sales
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Comfortable presenting, advising, and building long‑term customer relationships
  • Motivated, organized, and energized by challenging, innovative work
  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites (up to 30% annually)
