Are you a Civil Engineer passionate about serving local communities? Join our collaborative, forward-thinking team at one of our Pennsylvania offices in Allentown, Bethlehem, or Kresgeville. As a Municipal Civil Engineer, you'll partner with township officials and public agencies to plan, design, review, and oversee infrastructure improvements and land development activities. From roadway and stormwater projects to public facility upgrades, you'll ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards while supporting sustainable growth, public safety, and infrastructure integrity.

- Review and approve subdivision and land development plans in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).
- Design and manage public works projects, including roadways, stormwater systems, sanitary sewers, and recreational facilities.
- Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports and recommendations for municipal governing bodies.
- Coordinate with developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance, quality, and timely project completion.
- Provide technical guidance on zoning, environmental impact, and stormwater management matters.
- Prepare bid documents, cost estimates, and construction specifications for municipal infrastructure projects.
- Assist municipalities with grant applications, funding strategies, and long-range capital improvement planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 5+ years of relevant civil/site design experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in municipal engineering, including plan reviews and infrastructure design
- EIT required; PE license preferred
- Strong working knowledge of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), DEP regulations, and other applicable state and federal standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to municipal officials and the public.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
