Sr. Engineer - Service

• Should be able to carry out the preventive maintenance activity of all coating Machines & supporting Machines.
• Should be able to carry out the Breakdown maintenance activity of all coating Machines & supporting Machines.
• Provide emergency equipment repairs in order to productionganos running at all times
• Ensure all Machines are maintained as per Balzers standards.
• Liaison with external agencies on work related to maintenance.
• Communicate to service and shift leader in case of machine troubles/errors.
• Adhere and ensure everyone in the department follows to all safety requirements.
• Involve, suggest and implement HSE ,5S, OOE.
• Stock management & Co-ordinate for required consumables and spares with Service manager.
• Oversee failures and involve in implementation of preventive actions & corrective actions for internal and external complaints.
• Monitor the spare parts , raise intime purchase request , follow up for material and assist purchase in store management.
• Block non conforming equipments and spares.
• Follow applicable QMS requirements

• University degree / diploma in electronics/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as service engineer in mechanical/service industry.
• Knowledge of PVD/CVD coating technology highly recommended.
• Should exhibit resourcefulness as well as active listening & troubleshooting skills.
• Communicate with Managers & service team to ensure that machines are effectively maintained as per standards.
• Good English communication and team building skills
• Monitor Equipment Performance & plan/develop preventive measures on time.
• Open and positive mindset
