Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System‑of‑Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. The IT Maintenance Engineer will focus on maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, system integrity, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise Linux (SUSE Linux) and Windows server environments.
• Ensure system high availability and fault tolerance.
• Perform regular maintenance, including preventive and corrective tasks.
• Execute cybersecurity patches and participate in tech refresh activities.
• Manage network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
• Ensure optimal operation and performance of Nutanix HCI infrastructure, including cluster health monitoring and capacity planning.
• Utilize Splunk for proactive log analysis, monitoring, and alerting to identify and address anomalies before service impact.
• Use appropriate tools and follow maintenance manuals for task execution.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues, including log analysis using Splunk and native system tools.
• Apply system and cybersecurity patches across Linux, Windows, and Nutanix clusters.
• Participate in technology refresh activities, including upgrades to virtualization and storage environments.
• Monitor Nutanix cluster health and perform corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
• Configure and maintain Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports to support system observability.
• Manage configuration, asset, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with security teams to analyze logs and events to detect and mitigate threats.

Deliverables

• Regular maintenance reports, including preventive and corrective tasks performed.
• Documentation of root cause analyses and resolution of technical issues.
• Records of system and cybersecurity patches applied.
• Reports on participation in tech refresh activities.
• Updated records for configuration, asset, and change management.
• Splunk dashboards and reports summarizing system health, performance trends, and security events.
• Nutanix health and capacity reports highlighting cluster performance, incidents, and corrective actions taken.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure especially Nutanix is a must.
• Good team player and yet able to work independently.
• Singaporean only.
