PROJECT MANAGER – AUTOMOTIVE TEAM
Join LaFrance Corp as an Automotive Team Project Manager and lead projects from design and feasibility through full‑scale production, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct customer design feasibility reviews and drive Design for Manufacturing modifications.
- Design process flow and select & negotiate with component vendors.
- Lead product costing and maintain baseline throughout project.
- Manage project timeline to meet pre‑production builds, part approval, qualification, and production ramp.
- Oversee Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) including product testing and qualification runs.
- Collaborate daily with US and China‑based colleagues and customers to maintain alignment and support program completion.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a mechanical/process/quality/manufacturing engineer at an automotive company or a supplier to the automotive industry.
- B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in ProE/AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects to timely completion.
- Annual travel to LaFrance’s China production facilities.
- US citizenship or PERM status.
