Job Description
RESPEC seeks an Early Career Civil Engineer to join our team in either our Morgantown, WV, Central City, PA, or Pipersville, PA location.
The responsibilities for this position include assisting in planning and designing Abandoned Mine Land (AML) and reclamation projects, impoundment design and inspections, site design, site grading, stormwater design, permitting (including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System [NPDES]), and preparing technical reports. The successful candidate will work with senior engineering staff to manage mining-related reclamation projects. Domestic travel may be required for visits to client mine sites and for client and corporate meetings.

Qualifications- Bachelor of science or master of science degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering from an ABET accredited university
- A minimum of 1 year of mining engineering work experience
- At least 1 year of experience using mining-related software such as AutoCAD Map 3D, Carlson, Rotational Equilibrium Analysis of Multilayered Earthworks (REAME) or equivalent, Sedcad Software or other equivalent commercial packages
