Highway Project Engineer

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic and highway engineering design, demonstrating the ability to interpret, organize, and coordinate projects with minimal supervision. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen attention to detail and a capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with local township, county, and state clients to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
• Design and develop roadway plans, including traffic signal plans, signing and pavement marking plans, ADA compliance plans, and detour plans.
• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and project specifications.
• Conduct traffic safety and impact studies to ensure optimized infrastructure solutions.
• Utilize engineering standards and processes, including systems engineering, to complete assignments effectively.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on traffic or highway engineering.
• Proficiency in Microstation, Civil 3D, Synchro, and MS Office preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration in Pennsylvania is required.
