Activities & Responsibilities
Gruner Stucky, to support the development and the growth of the Italian Department, is currently seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join the team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the design, safety assessment and construction of embankment/concrete dams and hydropower plants. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both local and international projects and to make a significant impact in the field of civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive management of projects related to dams and hydropower facilities
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring resources assigned to the projects;
- Providing technical guidance for both internal and external project teams;
- Support to the Project Manager/Supervisor for the contractual issues
- Conduct short-term field assignments as required.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (MSc., PhD is an asset);
- 10 years of proven experience in dams & hydro engineering, with a portfolio of successful local and international projects;
- Experience in the conception, design, and construction follow-up of dams;
- Knowledge of international standards and guidelines for dam design, including ICOLD, US , etc.;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; proficiency in French is a plus;
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for short-term assignments.
