Join the Service Delivery team, a global group responsible for setting up SSC systems and executing critical operations to our customers, providing a link from the ground to the customers satellites.
As a Systems Engineer, you will perform multi-domain technical leadership, coordination, configuration, testing, documentation, and support through project participation, analyses/technical investigations, operational support, and customer interactions.
The work includes travels to customers and other SSC facilities and may require out-of-hours work or being part of an on-call team (up to 1 week per month) due to mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities- Lead integration of new space missions into the SSC telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C) system during service establishments.
- Perform critical operations and the early handover phase to operations for non-critical support; support incident management for routine operations.
- Interact with customers on technical matters, document decisions, track changes, and follow up on actions and deliverables during integration.
- Plan, execute, and report testing both internally and with customers to enable successful integration.
- Coordinate with technology suppliers and vendors on technical matters.
- Provide coordination and reporting, internally and with customers, to enable technical implementation on time and within budget.

- You have several years of experience with systems, preferably hardware and software, and are likely excited by the growing space industry.
- You can describe designs and ideas to customers and colleagues, communicating complex technical solutions clearly. You are able to write technical documentation and follow formal processes required in the Space business.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree (or corresponding experience) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Science, or Space Technology (and a general interest in all three).
- Experience in Systems Engineering hardware/software design, integration, testing, or critical support.
- Experience navigating Windows and Linux environments.

- Experience in Project Management, including project planning, reporting, and risk management.
