ntm engineering is hiring a senior-level cultural resources project manager to fill a full-time position in our dillsburg or wayne, pa office.
the position involves managing cultural resources tasks for multiple projects simultaneously, conducting client and agency coordination, preparing technical scopes of work and budgets, managing schedules, and reviewing technical reports. The project manager will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of architectural historians, archaeologists, environmental scientists, nepa specialists, and engineers.
the applicant must be able to work well in a team, organize and prioritize tasks, and be able to travel to project sites, project meetings, and professional conferences (including overnight travel).
minimum training and experience required- qualified candidate must have a degree in architectural history, anthropology, archaeology, historic preservation, or closely related field
- a master’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- must have 10+ years of experience in the field.
- demonstrated experience working with section 106 of the national historic preservation act (nhpa) in the transportation industry.
- experience in integrating the section 106 process within the national environmental policy act (nepa), and section 4(f) and the overall transportation project developing process is essential.
- a valid driver’s license is required.
