Brief Description

What we are looking for in a Jr. PV System Designer:

• Knowledgeable:
  Experience with AutoCAD and experience or interest in electrical theory is preferred, but not required. Basic understanding of solar PV systems, components, and layouts is also preferred, but not required.
• Skilled:
  Good communication skills via phone, email, and messaging. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft applications, and very detail-oriented.
• Team Player:
  Humble. Self-motivated. Goal-oriented. Hard worker.
• Passionate:
  Excited about solar energy. Desire to continuously learn and build your knowledge and skills.

• $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, DOE
• Quarterly profit sharing bonus (profits permitting)

• Prepare preliminary permit and construction-level solar plan sets (site, roof, and electrical layouts) and revise designs in response to AHJ, utility, and internal review comments
• Assist with system layouts, module/inverter selection, and basic equipment sizing
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and installers to resolve design issues
