Per Diem Substitute Teacher

Location: Bensalem

We are accepting applications for per diem substitutes for the  school year.

The per diem substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction (following the teacher's lesson plans), managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Duties include:

• Instructs students and facilitates their learning in the absence of the regular teacher
• Provides classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment
• Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Pennsylvania Teaching Certification preferred
• Understanding and commitment to inclusive learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with MS Office
