Job DescriptionAides are typically hired initially as a substitute with no guarantee of hours. When/if moved to a permanent position, aides have a guarantee of 4 hours a day with the potential for more hours as seniority increases.
- Assist bus drivers transporting students, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to assist with the special needs (physical and emotional) of elementary and secondary students
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Salary:
- Salary in compliance with the Teamsters, Local 312 Bus Aides’ Bargaining Agreement
