Job Description
Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students in a K–12 general education setting with a partner school district near Abington, Pennsylvania. This is a part‑time position, four days per week, offering consistency, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
At PTS, we believe in providing educators with the support, resources, and flexibility they need to do their best work—while making a lasting difference for students.
What This Role Looks Like- Support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in general education classrooms
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct services and consultation to ensure access to instruction
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Support accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology as needed
- Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing certification (PA or eligible)
- Experience with K–12 students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive, student‑centered education
