The Delaware County Community College is seeking experienced plumbers to instruct a variety of day-time plumbing classes to college-level plumbing certificate students at Main Campus in Media.

Successful candidates are required to teach both lecture (theory) and lab (practical applications) classes in:

* Plumbing Theory

* Residential Plumbing Services

* Faucets & Fixture Systems

* Drains & Sewers

* Hot Water Production

The ideal candidate must have:

* Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in working with professional residential and/or commercial plumbing.

* Have a minimum of five (5) years of on-the-job experience or a combination of training and experience.

* Be a certified Journeyman Plumber

* Be able to work with a diverse group of students.

Background Clearances:
Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background History, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance);
