Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified applicants for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of associate or full professor. We invite applicants who have a record of nationally and/or internationally disseminated and peer-reviewed scholarship and emerging or sustained national reputation. IUSON offers a full range of academic programs from BSN to DNP and PhD. IUSON seeks applicants who will contribute to our commitment to engage the city, state, nation, and beyond through research, teaching, and service, in consideration of the rich diversity of our campus and community.
Overall, the candidate’s responsibilities include contributing to IUSON’s research, teaching, and service missions.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams of interprofessional researchers across clinical and academic settings.
PhD is required. While a PhD in Nursing Science is preferred, candidates who have earned a PhD in a related field (e.g., public health, health sciences, psychology, sociology) will be considered. Candidates who hold a PhD in Nursing must hold or be eligible for an Indiana RN license. A successful history of external funding (e.g., NIH, HRSA, NLN, PCORI) is strongly preferred.
Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on evidence of scholarly, teaching and service achievements.
Open positions are available for January 1 start dates. Leadership opportunities aligned with faculty expertise may be available. Applications received by November 1, 2024, will be given priority.
