Lacrosse Coach and Camp Counselor

Island Lake Camp is a co‑educational, sleep‑away camp located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. We offer 4‑week and 3‑week sessions for campers aged 7‑17, emphasizing individualized programming to give each camper their ideal summer experience. Our counselors live with a specific bunk and age group while teaching their expertise in a designated activity area, spending on average 5 hours per day coaching and instructing.

• Lead engaging drills and practices for campers of all skill levels
• Coach games and tournaments against other summer camps
• Help campers increase their confidence on and off the court
• Live with a group of campers and co‑counselors, tending to their day‑to‑day needs
• Serve as a role model in attitude and behavior

Island Lake provides full room and board, including snacks, meals, laundry service, and travel reimbursement for everyone traveling to camp. We offer paid internships and collaborate directly with colleges and universities to ensure you receive the credits you deserve.

• Available mid‑June through mid‑August
• High school or college‑level experience in sport
• Youth coaching experience
• Qualified references
• Comfortable with children and childcare experience
