Overview
Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University invites applications for an adjunct instructor in the Department of History to teach sections in the university’s general education program. These courses include HIST 160 (Ancient World) and HIST 161 (Modern Civilization). The applicant must be able to teach during the day for in-person instruction.
Position is in-person daytime instruction on the university’s St. Davids, PA campus.
Responsibilities- Teach HIST 160 and HIST 161 in the general education program in-person during daytime hours.
- Provide student support and conduct in-classroom instruction.
- Master’s Degree in History; teaching experience at the college/university level required.
- Ph.D. in History (or ABD) strongly preferred.
- Cover letter including a brief statement of faith.
- Curriculum vitae, unofficial graduate transcripts, and three professional reference letters.
