The Assistant or Associate Professor of Business is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position within the University’s College of Business and Leadership. The faculty member is committed to excellence in teaching, advising, scholarship, and service, maintaining academic competence in their area of expertise within business. Responsibilities include teaching both traditional (in-person) and online courses, developing online curricula, advising students, and participating in university service and scholarship activities.

• Prepare for and teach course loads (typically 24 credits) effectively.
• Teach core courses in both on-ground and online formats.
• Create online course content as needed.
• Serve as a faculty advisor, mentoring students toward degree completion.
• Maintain competence in their area of expertise.
• Participate in faculty service, including committees and university functions.
• Engage in scholarship and professional endeavors.
• Participate in department and college meetings and activities.
• Provide spiritual mentoring and support for colleagues.
• Participate in graduation exercises.
• Follow faculty handbook and FERPA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a terminal degree (usually a doctorate) suitable for a tenure-track role, competence in general business concepts, preferably with specialization, demonstrated excellence in teaching, online course facilitation, proficiency with online learning tools, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, integrity, and honesty.
