OB/GYN:
General

LVPG OB/GYN is an enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania that serves women’s preventive, gynecological, and obstetric needs. Inpatient care is conducted at 2 Family Birth and Newborn Centers, Cedar Crest (Allentown) and Muhlenberg (Bethlehem) hospital sites, and 2 primary surgical locations at Muhlenberg and 17th Street (Allentown) campuses.

Join a team of general ob/gyn physicians who work with midwives, ob/gyn hospitalists, and maternal‑fetal medicine specialists at our largest network maternity hospital. This campus supports over 3,000 births annually and serves as a referral hospital for our 4 other network maternity hospitals and for other regional facilities outside our network. Our hospitalists serve as the primary teaching faculty for the ob/gyn residents and medical students, and they work closely with our maternal fetal medicine physicians for management of high‑risk patients.

Newborn services include a Level IV NICU and access to our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital pediatricians, including medical and surgical specialists. Limited hospital‑based gynecology care may also be performed. Opportunities exist for participation in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and healthcare administration.

We offer an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and recently established a new Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
