Overview
Mercy Neurology is seeking board certified or board eligible Neurologists to join the Neurohospitalist team in St. Louis, MO. The Neurohospitalist service provides inpatient neurological consults at Mercy Hospital South with no nighttime call duties. The position offers a block schedule, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for leadership within a large, integrated Catholic healthcare system.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient neurological consult services as part of the Neurohospitalist team at Mercy Hospital South.
- Collaborate with the General Neurology group, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, and the stroke team to coordinate patient care.
- Support clinical innovation and participate in leadership opportunities as available.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
- Experience as a Neurohospitalist or inpatient neurologist is preferred but not required.
- Attractive block schedule: 7 on / 7 off.
- No nighttime call duties.
- Providing clinical services at Mercy Hospital South.
- Outpatient support from the General Neurology group.
- Affiliated with a Level 1 Stroke Center and a large regional medical system.
- System-wide Epic EMR; 70,000 annual emergency visits;
Level II Trauma Center.
