Tafco has been manufacturing quality walk-ins for over 65 years. In addition to walk-in coolers and freezers, we are a leading supplier of modular insulated panels and refrigeration products for large warehouses, pharmaceutical applications, universities, government, and military applications.
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans that accurately represent designs and specifications for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant software applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Drafting, Design Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a draftsman or drafter.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (e.g., Sketch Up, Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization software is a plus.
