Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our well-established, patient-focused dental practice. At Zug Family Dentistry, we have new state of the art equipment in a new building and the experience and success that comes with 40 years in business. Candidates should possess extensive expertise in root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures, providing exceptional patient care within a collaborative team environment.
This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with advanced dental technology including a brand new CBCT unit. The ideal candidate is dedicated to clinical excellence, patient education, and teamwork.
- Perform comprehensive root canal treatments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution using aseptic techniques and medical imaging.
- Conduct patient assessments, including evaluating dental and medical history, to determine appropriate endodontic procedures.
- Utilize dental fabrication techniques for restorations related to endodontic therapy when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists on complex cases requiring combined treatment approaches such as oral surgery or prosthodontics.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to prevent cross-contamination and promote patient safety.
- Educate patients about their dental health, treatment options, and post-procedure care using clear dental terminology.
- Stay current with advancements in endodontics, including new techniques, materials, and technology.
- Proven experience in performing root canal therapy and endodontic procedures within a dental clinic or similar setting.
- Strong background in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related specialties is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, medical imaging, and anatomy knowledge relevant to endodontics.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry practices to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Prior experience working with Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proficiency in managing medical documentation securely and accurately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 per week
