Multiple positions, unique opportunity for those with experience in customer service to join the Visitor Experience team at Falls Creek Alpine Resort.

The Visitor Services Attendant provides seasonal tourism services to the Falls Creek visitor services team, supporting marketing and communications, events, activities and services that enhance the visitor experience.

The opportunity:

We are seeking people with customer service experience to join our Visitor Experience team. As a Visitor Service Attendant, you will be the 'go-to-person' for our resort visitors. Whether it is answering phone queries, assisting guests as they pass through the ticket box or dropping into our Visitor Information Centre, our Visitor Service Attendants are the friendly faces that provide outstanding customer service and knowledge about the resort.

  • Be the first point of contact for the resort.
  • Provide high level customer service, detailed information and product sales to guests, community members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate filing of correspondence, reports, data, feedback and maintain databases.
  • Process point of sales transactions and end of day reconciliations.
  • Demonstrate a solutions focused mindset.
  • Stock control.
  • Provide support to the marketing and events function of the Visitor Experience Team.
  • Provide support and services to the broader Falls Creek Alpine Resort team.

This is an on-site seasonal role at Falls Creek Alpine Resort where you will get to enjoy spectacular views and the unique alpine environment every day, including the challenges this brings.

Become part of a team that supports the daily operations and enhances the Visitor Experience at Falls Creek during winter.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Minimum two years' experience in a front line customer service role.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
  • Prior experience working in a resort environment (desirable).
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft 365. Experience with Snapforms, and In-touch desirable.
  • Solutions orientated approach, with the ability to be flexible and adapt.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A safety first approach for self, and others.
  • Must be available for the entire season (June to September).
The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type.
  • Have a current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.

Location: Falls Creek Alpine Resort, Victoria

Salary: Commencing from $26.92 per hour, plus casual loading + superannuation

Contract Term: Casual, seasonal.
