VILLAGE HOST Kitchen Kettle Village

Intercourse, Pa| Part-time| $11 per hour

The Village Host creates a warm, welcoming first impression for bus groups and individual guests by proactively greeting them, sharing helpful information, and offering clear directions throughout the Village. This role plays a key part in collecting bus group data, building strong relationships with drivers, guides, and group leaders, and promoting group incentives and add-on experiences that enhance each visit. The Village Host also supports the Group Sales team with behind-the-scenes and clerical tasks to help group tours run smoothly from arrival to departure.

What You’ll Do
  • Warmly greet bus and motor coach groups with a friendly smile and welcoming presence.
  • Present key information about the shops, history, and culture of the Village in an engaging way.
  • Complete data collection forms to accurately track bus and motor coach traffic.
  • Provide clear Village information and directions to guests throughout their visit.
  • Proactively engage in conversation with Village guests to answer questions and enhance their experience.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with bus drivers, group leaders, guides, and guests.
  • Share information about group incentives, add-on tours, and special experiences with drivers and guides.
  • Assist in relaying important messages and updates to guests as needed.
  • Support the Group Sales team with clerical and behind-the-scenes group tour duties as assigned.
