• Pay: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour plus performance based incentives

• Steady schedule: 41 to 50 hours per week

• Lead field operations for heavy civil construction projects in Fairview, Pennsylvania and surrounding regions

• Oversee job site safety and conduct regular safety meetings to maintain compliance

• Interpret and execute project drawings, specifications, and construction plans accurately

• Coordinate labor, equipment, and daily work plans with the General Superintendent

• Manage material orders and maintain organized inventory on site

• Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and ownership representatives to address project changes

• Track daily production, labor hours, and job progress documentation

• Represent Chivers Construction professionally with clients and the public

Hiring Expectations:

• Valid driver’s license, Class A CDL preferred

• 6 to 10 years of experience in bridge construction, heavy civil construction, or related industrial projects

• Proven experience managing PennDOT DOT projects, including small bridge construction, sewer and waterline installation, linework, pump stations, or treatment plants

• Experience overseeing longer bridge spans at the superintendent level is a strong plus

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and civil construction documents
