A manufacturer of automated equipment located in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Buyer to join their team. This position will be responsible for procurement of ($8,500,000) in products and services. Will to monitor the performance, quality and pricing practices of vendors and monitor performance in relation to delivery, quality and pricing to ensure that production schedules are met and proper inventory of office supplies are maintained.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze purchasing data to identify cost reduction opportunities, implement cost-saving strategies, and monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon pricing;
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to ensure adequate supply of materials while minimizing excess inventory;
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines;
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure procured materials meet quality standards and specifications;
Identify potential supply chain disruptions, mitigate risks associated with supplier dependence, and develop contingency plans;
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical sourcing practices;
Generate reports on purchasing metrics like cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels;
Managing the RMA and RGA process, including initiating return by way of communicating with supplier, accounting and receiving. #IND
