The Commercial Vehicle Account Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and owning the Commercial Vehicle account strategy across On-Highway and Off-Highway market segments. This role serves as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers and holds full accountability for the overall business performance of the account, including commercial and sales KPIs, program management performance, customer scorecards, and lifecycle execution from program development and launch through series production and aftermarket.
The role focuses on building strong, long-term customer relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the Group’s Sales Strategy, internal processes, and legal framework.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Commercial Vehicle account strategy, ensuring full accountability for commercial and sales KPIs across existing and new business.
Act as the key commercial contact for customers within the Commercial Vehicle market. Build and maintain strong relationships to support program development, launches, series production, and aftermarket performance.
Identify new business opportunities through customer meetings, market intelligence, and strategic planning. Ensure opportunities are aligned with the Group’s Sales Strategy and focused on high-impact programs.
Enter and manage new business opportunities in Salesforce according to Group prioritization criteria. Generate reports and insights to support senior management decision‑making.
Ensure new opportunities are reflected in the Sales Budget, reserving required capacity, aligning contract conditions, and maintaining updated component cost information.
Lead quotation activities for new business, engineering changes, and other commercial requests, ensuring compliance with KPIs and value creation for the organization.
Participate in regular customer meetings related to capacity planning, engineering changes, service, and tooling refurbishment. Ensure timely internal communication and coordination to resolve issues efficiently.
Work closely with Sales Managers and Program Managers to ensure adherence to internal processes (Salesforce, ePCP, budgeting) and effective program execution.
Prepare and issue official written communications in response to customer requests, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with Group policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate kick‑off meetings for new business opportunities, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and availability of minimum required information to support timely quotations.
Manage customer meetings related to Sales and Programs, and organize customer visits to Bocar facilities, ensuring compliance with Group policies and customer expectations.
