RoleSummary:
The Product Manager is responsible for the development, collaboration, implementation, and accountability of HCP marketing strategy and operational plans that optimize profitability, market share, and revenue growth for the brand portfolio in the short and long term. This role requires leadership and the ability to lead various assignments to help the business unit achieve its overall goals. The Product Manager works closely with cross-functional teams and leverages market intelligence to drive marketing strategy implementation and ensure effective execution.
StrategicPlanning & Execution
- Developing business plans/ market strategies for the products within the assigned portfolio.
- Making Brand plan, Brand strategy & competitor analysis of the brands.
- Ensuring marketing strategy implementation through sales force connect.
- Providing training, product knowledge, and direction to the field sales team to ensure that they are well-equipped with scientific and communication skills both.
- To work with cross-functional teams like medical affairs, the learning and development team, and R & D team (Research & Development) in the process.
- Planning & timely delivery of promotional inputs.
- Coordinate with printers and suppliers for local procurement and printing of marketing materials.
- Stay updated on the NPI calendar, including changes in product names, packs, or manufacturing.
- Product forecasting, new product pipeline strategy, new product pre-launch and launch strategy and post-launch, new initiatives for product growth strategy.
- Market intelligence through primary research and customer connect.
- Collaborate with Country Head and Country Sales Leadership to motivate and engage the sales team to take ownership of marketing initiatives.
- Provide visit-wise detailing stories and quarterly promotional plans.
- Conducting meetings, Product launches, organizing CMEs. Conference engagement plans.
- Track promotional spend and ensure alignment with budget.
- Follow standard SOPs for procurement, printing, and brand reminders.
Travel needed basis business requirements
Job Requirements Educational QualificationBachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience5-7 years of overall experience
