Founded in 2017, The Backyard Showcase builds and sells luxury outdoor structures that transform yards into the customers' dream spaces. We bring the Amish craftsmanship of Lancaster County to customers nationwide.
What You'll Do as a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant:- Process vendor bills and handle accounts payable.
- Create customer invoices, post payments, and support accounts receivable.
- Enter daily transactions and keep bookkeeping records accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Help with month-end tasks and basic reporting, including sales tax.
- Keep accounting files and documentation organized and easy to find.
- Support payroll tasks by collecting and submitting employee hours.
- Assist with office and sales support tasks, including customer follow-up and handling invoice or order questions.
- Run occasional local business errands using a company vehicle.
- Experienced: 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll; customer service experience required.
- Detail-oriented & Organized: Keeps financial records accurate, files orderly, and stays on top of deadlines without things slipping.
- Reliable: Shows up consistently, follows through on tasks, and can be counted on to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
- Professional: Communicates clearly and respectfully with customers, vendors, and teammates; represents the company well.
- Adaptable: Balances bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and customer or sales support as priorities shift.
- Tech-capable: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems;
Quick Books bookkeeping experience preferred; CRM experience (Hub Spot) a plus.
- Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.
-4:00 p.m. - $20-$23/hour, depending on experience
