A growing organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. This in-office position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing across a dynamic, multi-entity operation.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Process vendor invoices and maintain updated vendor records

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will prepare weekly check runs and enter manual checks as needed

• Resolve vendor inquiries and sales tax discrepancies

• Coordinate invoice approvals with department managers

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will enter monthly journal entries and maintain W9 documentation

• Assist with year-end 1099 preparation

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will support finance leadership with special projects

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Familiarity with SAGE Intacct is a plus
