Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team. This role will focus heavily on cash applications while also supporting the broader AR function. OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Process daily cash applications, including checks, ACH, and wire payments

• The AR Specialist will research and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash

• Maintain accurate customer account records and aging reports

• Support collections efforts through follow-up on past-due balances

• The AR Specialist will reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger

• Assist with month-end close and reporting related to accounts receivable

• The AR Specialist will communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or cash application experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience handling high-volume transactions

• Proficiency with Quick Books

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
