Accounting Manager – Technical Accounting

• Lead technical accounting research and the application of U.S. GAAP across various transactions
• Evaluate and document accounting and regulatory conclusions for new transactions and strategic programs
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex accounting and regulatory policy matters to various business units
• Monitor and support the implementation of new accounting and regulatory standards
• Partner with external auditors and regulatory teams to support audits and examinations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 4–6 years of experience in public accounting or technical accounting roles within a large organization
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience in banking and financial services
• Proven ability to communicate complex accounting issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience in a regulated financial services environment, with exposure to regulatory guidance or examinations
• Proven ability to prepare clear technical accounting documentation
• Experience partnering with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively with others
