Senior Accountant

Traditions of America, a national leader in the development of 55+ lifestyle communities, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team at our Berwyn, PA headquarters to report directly to the Senior Controller.

This role is ideal for a strong, hands-on accounting professional who can take ownership of key accounting functions, support monthly close and reporting, and work closely with leadership and operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Develop and analyze job cost and project-level financial reports
• Assist with commission processing and review of sales agreements
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Partner with internal teams on financial analysis, reporting, and special projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA preferred (or active pursuit)
• Experience in homebuilding, construction, real estate development, or property management strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills and general ledger experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism
