Accounting Manager; Hybrid

Overview

Rapidly growing company in the Plymouth Meeting area is looking to build out their accounting group. The Accounting Manager will support all accounting-related activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis of the period-end close.

• Review assigned areas from the period-end financial close process, including recording and reviewing journal entries, reviewing expense accruals, and performing financial analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations within established deadlines.
• Assist business partners' understanding of accounting activities.
• Handle process improvements, including automation of certain close functions and template standardization.
• Approve or perform various operational tasks, such as cash fundings and settlement of intercompany receivables and payables.
• Review and/or prepare various ad-hoc analyses, as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

• Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or related field with experience in public accounting being a strong preference
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
