Location: Bryn Mawr

Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting to join a growing U.S. corporate accounting and reporting team within a global organization. This role offers high visibility, technical depth, and strong exposure to senior leadership, including the Controller and CFO, while partnering with international headquarters.

This position is ideal for someone coming from public accounting (or a blend of public + industry) who enjoys technical accounting, financial reporting, and improving processes in a complex, multinational environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the month-end close process, including review of complex journal entries and accruals (hedge accounting, leases/IFRS 16, deferred compensation, insurance, provisions, reserves, etc.)
  • Coordinate financial reporting packages (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) to global headquarters
  • Partner with shared services to ensure accurate and timely close, reconciliations, and analysis
  • Perform technical accounting research and apply standards to real business scenarios
  • Support corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal control enhancement projects
  • Serve as a key liaison to Finance leadership, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Development, Legal, and auditors
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (MBA a plus)
  • CPA required (or actively pursuing)
  • 5–8+ years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public and corporate accounting/reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting
  • Experience in medium-to-large, multi-entity or multinational environments
  • ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, motivated, and strong communicator
