Senior Accountant (Tax Advisory)

Location:
Hybrid 2-3 days in office (Montgomery County, PA) during tax season; otherwise 1 day week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and nurturing client relationships and providing tax solutions and other advisory services to clients.
• Conducting research on changes in taxation, trends, and strategies.
• Preparing complex individual, partnership, corporate, nonprofit, estate, and other tax returns while adhering to paperless procedures.
• Identifying and communicating tax-related issues to managers and directors.
• Representing clients in dealings with the IRS.
• Participating in and contributing to external market and business activities outside the firm.

Qualification:

• Three to five years of recent experience in public accounting.
• Strong time-management skills and self-driven motivation to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in explaining tax concepts clearly and with care to clients.
• The capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with operating in a digital tax environment.
• Possession of a CPA license or EA certification is preferred.
