Century Kitchens has an immediate need for an Accounting Assistant/Accounts Receivable to perform daily accounting tasks focusing on Accounts Receivable while assisting in other areas of accounting. If you have an accounting background, work experience in accounting or education in the field of accounting, we’d like to meet you. Candidates must be detail oriented and able to work both independently as well as a member of the accounting team.
Ability to multi-task is a necessary component of this position.
- Process and apply deposits and payments on customer accounts.
- Reconcile invoices for payment following General Ledger coding principles.
- Process or assist with weekly check run.
- Process daily billing cycle, generating customer invoices.
- Send invoices to customers in various formats.
- Work experience preferred as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
- Ability to answer phones and file as needed.
- Good math skills.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel.
- Organization skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Flexibility to move between various accounting tasks.
- AS/BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred or relevant experience will be considered.
