Tax Professional – Franchise Location

H&R Block is looking for an experienced Tax Professional to serve seasonal clients with diverse tax needs.

• Build and maintain client relationships that grow stronger each year.
• Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and via virtual tools — video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust, and partnership tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation as applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.

• Success in H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with virtual tools — video, phone and chat.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing.
