Delivery Driver-Pennsauken ($17-$21/hr)

The Local Delivery Driver for The Restaurant Store is responsible for loading and delivering orders for local customers while maintaining high levels of customer service.

$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr

• Properly organize and load picked and prepared orders into the delivery van.
• Complete morning and afternoon delivery routes.
• Professionally and politely interact with customers and deliver product to their locations.
• Effectively refer customers to a member of the sales team to answer questions.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the delivery van.
• If there is downtime or a lapse of orders, serve as an operations professional within the store, assisting with daily material handling responsibilities.

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 50 lbs.

• Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of our business model and a strong work ethic.
• Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think critically.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles; occasional activities may involve marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate, and the passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
