IT Program Manager

Overview

Genesis
10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver defined deliverables which usually require engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program
• Communicate the work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables
• Ensure execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline and cost
• Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery – e.g., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
• Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the defined deliverables
• Promote/Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
• Gather/Facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
• Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
• Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
• Support resource planning for delivery/execution

• 5-7 years of previous experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong leadership skills to lead project team to deliver the technology solution with quality, on-time, and within budget
• Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate project status, issues, risks at all levels including key stakeholders and executives
• Ability to identify, communicate, and drive critical path activities, dependencies, timelines, and resources
• Previous experience managing project budget and financials to execute appropriate due diligence and financial management routines to deliver against financial commitments
• Ability to drive Enterprise Project Standards for planning, executing, and controls and meeting project audit requirements
• Risk management and ability to identify potential risks and escalate as needed, remove roadblocks to ensure progress
• Ability to identify all impacted teams, applications, and engage as needed for design, development, testing through to deployment(s)
• Ability to partner with testing teams to ensure testing timelines and deliverables are met
• Ability to identify deployment readiness plans and documentation and ensure deployment timelines and event are coordinated with broader planned release activities and externally impacted application teams
• Proactive in driving team to achieve commitments and results

Pay Range: $52.54-$60.54
