Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in:
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
The Global Finance Intern will actively participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases throughout global finance processes and controls. In this role, the intern will be responsible for translating real-world finance challenges into AI-driven solutions. They will collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute directly to various initiatives, such as pilot programs, proofs of concept, or fully deployed solutions, all aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and informed decision‑making within the organization.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students who have an interest in finance, accounting, data analytics, technology, and business transformation. It offers hands‑on experience that bridges the gap between academic learning and practical application in a global finance context.
Essential Functions of the Job:- Assist in the design and execution of AI use cases across global finance processes, including:
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Accounting, close, and consolidation
- Internal controls, compliance, and audit support
- Treasury & Tax Strategies
- Forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Partner with global finance process owners to understand end‑to‑end workflows and control requirements.
- Support hands‑on execution of use cases by:
- Assisting with data analysis, model logic, or tool configuration
- Testing outputs for accuracy, consistency, and control effectiveness
Documenting results and lessons learned
- Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams (Finance, IT, Data, Internal Audit) to assess that solutions are:
- Scalable across regions
- Aligned with global finance standards and policies
- Compliant with internal control expectations
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and summaries for finance leadership highlighting insights, outcomes, and recommendations.
Skills:
- Exposure to one or more of the following:
- Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools
- Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
- AI/ML concepts, robotic process automation (RPA), or predictive analytics
- Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrates strong abilities in analyzing complex information and applying critical‑thinking to solve problems effectively.
- Capable of learning new concepts and technologies rapidly, and able to contribute both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and organizational skill in managing tasks and information.
- Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms, ensuring information is conveyed accurately.
- Comfortable working with data sets and open to learning and utilizing new tools as needed for analytical tasks.
- Consistently demonstrates professionalism and exercises sound ethical judgment in all responsibilities.
Pay Rate: $27.00/Hour
