Trusted worldwide, our cutting‑edge technology strengthens Kardex’s portfolio of advanced intralogistics solutions, helping businesses achieve smarter, faster, and more efficient order fulfillment.

We are excited to expand our presence in Italy. That is why we are looking for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to join us on this growth journey. With business already established in the Italian market, you will be starting from a strong foundation—building on existing momentum while unlocking new opportunities for growth.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of developing and selling Auto Store solutions across Italy. From spotting opportunities and building relationships to leading complex sales projects through to closing, you’ll be at the center of driving business success.

You will:

  • Identify and develop new Auto Store opportunities in Italy
  • Lead the full sales cycle: acquisition, design, simulation, offer, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Collaborate with logistics consultants and technical teams to propose optimal solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships
  • Contribute to a startup‑minded, fast‑growing business unit within Kardex
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Your profile

We’re looking for a self‑starter with entrepreneurial drive—someone who sees the big picture, creates new opportunities, and turns them into long‑term success.

These qualities will help you excel in this role:

  • Proven sales experience in logistics, with hands‑on experience selling automated products, robotics, or closely related solutions
  • Confidence to manage the full sales cycle and lead complex projects from start to finish
  • Italian language skills, along with fluent English to communicate effectively across international teams
  • A background in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when needed—because building strong relationships sometimes means being there in person

Experience with technical drawing tools (AutoCAD or similar) is a strong plus and will be highly valued, though not a requirement.
