As Area Sales Manager you drive revenue for Belmond properties in Italy and Spain by building high-value relationships with international markets. You act as a Brand Ambassador, delivering memorable experiences to clients and aligning sales actions with divisional strategies. You will lead strategic market efforts, participate in trade events, and collaborate with Revenue, Marketing and Events teams to maximize opportunities. This role combines relationship development, data-driven selling, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate Belmond’s portfolio in Southern Europe.

- Develop and execute sales and account plans to hit revenue goals and win new business
- Build deep relationships with decision-makers, bookers, and influencers for long-term loyalty
- Qualify leads and drive closure using advanced selling and negotiation tools
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing and the SE Office to align actions with strategy
- Represent the brand at trade shows, missions and industry events and host client experiences
- Deliver product training and high-level presentations to keep partners engaged
- Perform strategic market analysis using Power BI and CRM tools to monitor productivity and trends
- Prepare management reports on properties and client performance
- Travel for sales missions, trade shows, and fam trips across Belmond Italy & Spain
- Maintain CRM data integrity, manage expenses, and periodic reporting
- Uphold Belmond values and professional conduct in all interactions
- Contribute to divisional meetings and ongoing professional development
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in hospitality
- Degree from a Hotel Management School preferred
- Extensive knowledge of B2B key accounts
- Strong relationship-building with customers
- Self-motivated and result-driven
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels
- Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages beneficial)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with account management and BI platforms a plus
- EU passport or legal work permit for Italy
